Gents Tag Heuer 2000 Exclusive

Men’s Tag Heuer 2000 exclusive series. I used to drool over these when I was a teen. This particular model is very close to the fence of becoming a vintage and also becoming a collectible, especially in this rose gold and grey dial combination. Does it sound like I’m overselling it?

Model number is WN1151

Stainless steel case with a uni-directional bezel. The case measures 38mm, which in my days was huge, but nowadays it’s classed as more conservative. Has that lovely charcoal grey dial with those shiny, raised hours markers in rose gold. Looks almost like one of those monochrome paintings that has a splash of one bright colour. There is a calendar window at three on a white background.

The crystal is sapphire and the crown screws down.

It has that most famous of quartz movements, the ETA 955.112 so you’ll never be short of parts. I have installed a fresh battery

The bracelet will fit a large wrist up to 8 inches and I’d be happy to resize it for you.

I would say it is in excellent condition for its age or any age for that matter and it has had a gentle buff from myself.

It comes with the booklets and original box. The box has some “patina”. Basically it’s battered and I just opened it to take the watch out to take pictures for this listing and broke the zip on it. But hey, it’s the original inner and outer box. If you prefer, I can provide you with a new, clean modern Tag Heuer box.
